Process

This is why we pride ourselves on keeping things simple so you can enjoy the construction process from end to end.

Initial Consultation

At our free initial site inspection, we'll meet with you to discuss your requirements and construction options—exploring your project, budget and ideas.

Design & Plan

As the first step in the building process, we are experienced in working with a wide variety of clients at various stages of the design process. 

If you already have approved and completed architectural plans to discuss—great! But depending on your vision for the project we are also happy to recommend a draughtsman, architect or any other specialist consultants who will be best suited to your needs. We then work as a team to provide the very best design service.

Quote

Once your plans have been approved, we are able to proceed with providing you with a comprehensive quote, outlining site works and all other inclusions.

FIXED COSTS: items for which an accurate, confirmed price has been assigned and therefore will not change unless a client requests a variation during the construction process.

PRIME COSTS (PC): items that are yet to be selected for which the builder has allocated an estimated cost. It provides the client with a budget when making selections, with the value only changing if the client selects something beyond the initial allocation.

PROVISIONAL SUMS (PS): provide the client with an estimate for costs that are difficult to determine prior to commencement. An example of this would be during the demolition or excavation process where an issue is uncovered that was unable to be seen prior to delivering the quote. 

VARIATIONS: these occur when a client makes a request to make a change to the initial agree scope of works, subsequently impacting the cost.

Contract Preparation

Using a standard industry HIA contract, we prepare contracts for you to sign. At this stage we will also develop a timeline for the project and liaise with you to determine a start date.

Construction Commences

As construction commences, you will be kept up to date as to the process. Site meetings will be arranged to monitor progress and answer any questions you may have.

Completion & Handover

After conducting our final inspection, any outstanding details will be addressed prior to final acceptance and occupation.
